| What makes Farmer's
Markets different to other markets : |
| |
- Our producers must be local – normally defined
as being within a 30-mile radius of the market site.
|
| |
- Producers must sell their own produce and it must
have been grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked,
smoked or processed by the stallholder.
|
| |
- The person behind every stall that you visit must either
be the producer, a close family member or an employee
directly involved with production.
